About the Role

Job Description: Business Development Manager

Location: Outskirts of Chelmsford

 

Salary: Circa £30-35k per annum + Generous Commission (Based on new and repeat/subscription business)

 

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Working Pattern: 4 days a week in the office, with remote working on Fridays

The company is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to focus on driving both new and repeat business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative and target-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities across various industries.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat and subscription-based business.
  • Articulating the value of the company’s digital marketing services to both prospective and existing clients.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and deal closure to ongoing account development.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project delivery.
  • Achieving and exceeding revenue targets through a combination of new client acquisition and retention strategies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within digital marketing or related sectors.
  • A results-oriented individual with a passion for securing new business and fostering lasting client relationships.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor approaches to diverse audiences.
  • Based in Essex, with the ability to commute to the office 4 days a week.
  • Confident, personable, and proactive, with a natural ability to build rapport and drive results.
